When you use ZillaPulse, we collect: account information you provide (name, email, company name, password - stored hashed, never in plain text); billing information handled by Razorpay (we do not store your card details); brand data you enter (brand names, keywords, competitor names); and usage data (reports generated, login activity).
To generate reports, we send the keywords and prompts you provide to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) via their APIs. These providers process that data under their own privacy policies. We recommend avoiding entering sensitive personal data into keyword fields, since this data is transmitted to those providers to generate your report.
We use your data to: operate and improve the Service; generate the reports you request; process billing; communicate with you about your account; and, in aggregate/anonymized form, to understand how the Service is used.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with: AI providers (as described above, solely to generate your reports); Razorpay, to process payments; and hosting/infrastructure providers who store our database. We may disclose data if required by law.
We retain your account and report data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you're located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights (such as the EU's GDPR or India's DPDP Act), you may have additional rights under those laws.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing, restricted file access to configuration and credentials, and HTTPS encryption in transit. No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
